Inflatables came very much into the public eye as architectural and domestic object when synthetic material became commonplace. Iconic structures like the US Pavillion on the 1970 Osaka Expo by Davis and Brody and Victor Lundys travelling pavillion for that Atomic Energy Commission popularized the idea that inflatables can be a way to build large structures with very extendend interior spans without pillars. These nice hopes for inflatable structures would later be dashed by the many practical difficulties faced by inflatable buildings such as climatization safety sensitivity to wind and fire proofing that currently restrict their use to very particular circumstances.

For this company the wear and tear on the inflatables is less sporadic and more of a full time concern. However they make a constant stream of money during the events unlike the one-day rental options.
Inflatable costumes are lightweight and cool thus the wearer would not have a difficult time carrying it around for hours. There is also no need for the person inside the costume to worry about dripping sweat and losing his or her breath-the wearer will bring with him a fan and an equally lightweight power pack to keep the costume inflated. Thus it will be entirely comfortable to be inside the inflated suit and interaction with audiences will be more genuine and heartfelt. The inflatable balloons on the other hand are durable balloons that incorporate a companys brand pr product catch images.
